ACM/SPEC ICPE 2019 attended by over 210 participants

Over 210 participants from industry and academia attended the 10th ACM/SPEC ICPE 2019 in Mumbai, India

Over 210 participants from industry and academia attended the 10th ACM/SPEC International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE 2019) in Mumbai, India.

In the research track, 13 out of 71 papers were accepted as full papers. Five full papers received an ACM artifact badge after the subsequent review process in the artifact evaluation track. In the industry/experience track, 5 out of 21 papers were accepted as full papers. 8 submissions were accepted as short papers. In the work-in-progress/vision track, 10 out of 23 papers were accepted. In addition to those scientific papers, the technical program features three keynotes, two tutorials, the presentation of the SPEC Kaivalya Dixit Distinguished Dissertation Award[2nd Workshop on Education and Practice of Performance Engineering (WEPPE)]{lang=“ES”}4 co-located events: TCS Quantum Computing Workshop, Performance Engineering Training & Hackathon, 1st India Performance Workshop, and TCS and VMWare 'Research Cafe's'. Several SPEC meetings were held in parallel to the conference in the same venue.

As usual, the best research and industry/experience papers were awarded. The best paper candidates were announced in the technical program online (research, industry/experience) and the respective authors presented their work in dedicated slots.
